SOREA Hotel Máj - locality: The SOREA Máj Hotel is situated in the exquisite scenery of the Low Tatras National Park at the entry to the Jánska valley, one of the most scenic valleys in the Low Tatra Mountains, at an altitude of 700 metres above sea level of. The hotel is located at the end of the municipality of Liptovský Ján, which belongs among the most attractive localities of the distinctive Liptov region. Thanks to the rich presence of thermal and mineral springs, Liptovský Ján is a popular place for balneal and recreation stays.

SOREA Hotel Máj - accommodation: The completely reconstructed hotel offers its guests modern and comfortable single and double bed rooms with fold-away cot, family rooms, apartments and rooms for immobile clients, equipped with individual toilets, shower bath, balcony, TV with SAT programmes, radio, telephone and safe deposit. For more demanding clients, the hotel offers apartments consisting of 2 rooms (bedroom and sitting room), equipped with TV set with SAT programmes, radio, telephone, safe deposit, fridge and individual toilets, bath tub or shower bath and balcony. Comfort and convenience of the highest level is provided by a two-floor APARTMENT DE LUXE with its own terrace on the highest hotel floor. The hotel does not provide the possibility of accommodation for pets.

SOREA Hotel Máj - supplementary Services: For active relaxation, the hotel offers its guests the services of the sport-relaxation centre, i.e. indoor swimming pool with thermal water, sauna, classical and water massages and fitness. The clients may also make use of rental and storage of winter sport equipment (skis, cross-country skis, snowboards) and rental of mountain bikes, scooters and skates. The hotel furnishes billiards, table tennis and table football and for our youngest guests the hotel has a children’s corner with the smiling dwarfs Maťko and Kubko with their sheep.

An integral part of the hotel area includes the well-known thermal SOREA open air pool with thermal springs with a water temperature of 29°C, tennis courts, minigolf and an area for beach volleyball. Standard hotel services: washing services, exchange office and sale of souvenirs.

SOREA Hotel Máj - Indoor Swimming Pool: The hotel has its own indoor swimming pool of size 25 m x 12 m, water depth from 1.50 m to 1.80 m, and 10 m x 12 m children’s pool with water depth of 0.7 m and a temperature of 27°C- 28°C. The children’s pool provides excellent conditions for both group and individual aqua-gymnastics. The pool is drawn from thermal water coming from the Rudolf spring, and does have curative effects. From the health point of view, it is recommended to stay in the pool maximally for 1.5 h., and therefore entry into the pool is monitored. Price, adults: SKK 90.00 per 1.5 hour., price, children to the age of 12: SKK 70.00. Price for hotel guests, adults: SKK 70.00 per 1.5 hour.; price for hotel children: SKK 50.00 per 1.5 hour. For groups, the hotel offers booking of the pool for a bargain price of SKK 3,500.00 per 1.5 hour.

SOREA Hotel Máj - Thermal Swimming Pools: form a part of the SOREA Máj hotel; swimming pool (length: 50 m, wide: 18 m, depth: from 80 to 180 cm, water temperature: from 26 C to 28 C), children’s pool, relaxation pool and a pool with a fountain. Other facilities: tennis court, beach volleyball, minigolf, children’s playground, refreshment stands, supervised car park at the swimming pool. Opening hours: in summer from June to the end of September, from Thursday to Sunday; June and September from 9:00 AM to 07:00 PM, in July and August from 09:00 AM to 09:00 PM.
